Maladama

 

Despite being born and raised in Mexico City, Regina lives in the US,

where she studied Cinema and electronic arts

 

Maladama stems directly from her focus on artistic experimentation and the her perpetual search for new sonic tools. For Regina, the construction of pop music with shades of noise, found sound and field recordings has also been a way to discover herself; to expand her definition of femininity and to play in unexplored terrains.
